The Social section of the Standard admin panel controls settings related to the social icons in the header menu bar. Icons placed in the Active Icon area will be visible in the header of the site.
1 – Active Icons
Arrange icons in the order in which you want them displayed in the menu bar.
Drag an icon back to the library to remove it from the menu bar.
Due to space limitations, Standard looks best with 7 icons or less.
2 – Icon URL
Click an icon to set it’s destination URL.
The URL for the RSS icon is read only and can not be updated. If the native WordPress RSS feed is being used, it will show the local URL. If a FeedBurner feed has been configured in the Global section, it will show the FeedBurner URL.
3 – Icon Library
To use a social icon in your header menu bar, drag it out of the Icon Library and into Active Icons.
To add an icon click the Upload New Icon button, select an image, then click Upload Social Icon.
To delete one of your uploaded social icons, drag and drop it onto the trash can.
The Icon Library comes with 8 icons to get you started. You can upload your own. You can not remove the native Standard icons.
A maximum size 32px x 32px is recommended.
