The WordPress admin panel contains common elements that are the same regardless of which theme is installed. These are things like Posts, Pages, Media, and Comments.
Activating Standard on your site will add new sections to the WordPress admin panel that are specific to the features Standard provides. You can access these by going to the Standard link in the admin panel’s left menu.
